Clinical Supervision:  This course meets the requirements of 491 for 16 hours of classroom training to qualify as an approved clinical supervisor for LMHC/LCSW/LMFT interns by the DOH.  Also approved for license renewal or recertification CEUs.

Course Description:  Participants will learn to understand the tasks and functions of the clinical supervisor and improve their personal ability to give effective job performance feedback.  They will also learn how to construct a supervisory interview to achieve specific goals.  They will design a learning plan to improve counselor performance, demonstrate familiarity with the Addiction Counseling Competencies: Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes of Professional practice and assess counselor proficiency in the Competencies.
