Course Description

Counseling and medical practices are changing in the United States. There are an increasing number of individuals wanting to be treated with alternative techniques. In this workshop, individuals will be introduced to the neurobiology of the brain. Additionally, participants will be introduced to the ancient practices of herbs, nutrition, naturopathic techniques, vitamins and stimulation of meridian points to compliment traditional counseling practices.

Participants attending this course will be:
1) Able to Identify 5 structures of the brain;
2) Introduced to the 12 meridian points;
3) Introduced to the paractice of Energy Tapping;
4) Introduced to 7 herbs of use and abuse;
5) Introduced to 3 herbal/vitamin/nutritional practices used with mental health/addiction related issues.
