Course Description: Participants will learn to understand the tasks and functions of the clinical supervisor and improve their personal ability to give effective job performance feedback. They will also learn how to construct a supervisory interview to achieve specific goals. They will design a learning plan to improve counselor performance, demonstrate familiarity with the Addiction Counseling Competencies: Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes of Professional practice and assess counselor proficiency in the Competencies.
