| Description | 102 Anti Social Personality Traits Instructor: Henrik Beck Dates: July 16 - 19, 2012 CEU Hours: 20 Hours DUI CEU Hours: 20 Hours of I, E, SSS, and CS Course Description: Participants in this course will be able to recognize clients with anti-social (often criminal) personality traits and understand the nuances' of Axis diagnoses re DSM IV. They will also learn to diagnose levels of anti-social personality through correct screening and understand the link between anti-social personalities and substance abuse and the necessity of dealing with both issues. Students will learn to understand why traditinoal substance abuse treatment fails with this population. Participants will be taught to recognize differences in treatment modalities for violent and non-voilent clients of this type as well as learning to understand appropriate treatmnet approaches and how to use them: Understanding "Emotional Zero".
